Hey, Clone Club, Meet ORPHAN BLACK’s Cast and Creators at Premiere Screening in NYC!

New York City area Clone Clubbers: the chance to get a sneak peek at season two of Orphan Black is all yours! The BBC America series is taking its premiere episode to the delightful Sunshine Cinemas (get some of the fancy popcorn!) on Thursday, April 17th at 7 PM ET. And you could be there! Yes, YOU! All you have to do is arrive early and take a chance.

Co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson will be there. Jordan Gavaris will be there (Fe!! Aww, Fe. We love Fe.). Evelyne Brochu will be there (we bet if you ask nicely the Delphine half of Cophine will even say something in French to you). Maria Doyle Kennedy will be there (Mrs. S, WHERE IS KIRA?!). You’ll get to watch the season 2 premiere before most everybody else, and there will be a Q&A with the cast and crew immediately after. It’s at Sunshine Cinemas on the Lower East Side (which is like, 2 blocks away from The Meatball Shop. So good, so meaty.)

There are legitimately SO many reasons for you to attend, Clone Clubbers, so make sure you do if you can and report back. And then when April 19th rolls around and the series premieres for real-real, we can all obsess and freak out in our weekly recaps here (written by yours truly).

I was there! I got there at around 2:15, and there were about 50 or so people already in line.

I liked that the creators acknowledged the girl dressed as Cosima, and how she had been waiting since 11PM the night before.

The premiere was amazing, and the fans were great. Some pretty thought out questions at the Q/A for the most part.

Evelyne Brochu handed out food to everyone on the line and took pictures with us about 3 hours before we got in. She’s pretty amazing.

Can’t wait for episode 2 in 9 days.
