Here’s The Trailer For Season 2 Of “The Walking Dead”

You weren’t at the Comic-Con Walking Dead panel moderated by Chris Hardwick? Neither was I. But we can watch the trailer for the new season, debuted at the panel, right here anyway:

See? We don’t need any fancy convention thing to see that. The new season, by the way, starts on October 16th in the U.S. on AMC.

Oh man, I cannot wait for this. I immediately had a season 1 marathon upon seeing this for the first time. That first scene with Shane appeared to maybe take place in the walled estates community that they visited for a short while, and of course we see Hershel’s farm. I would think that arriving at the prison is going to be the last scene of the last episode of season 2, and then we’ll get to meet Tyrese and Michonne. Longest. Two Months. Ever.

Holy mother that looks great!! More sleepless Sunday nights. I never can get to sleep after watching this show…it’s so disturbingly good!

Does YouTube have region restrictions? If not, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OZ0mu8Ey6A

  4. Nevidge says:

    Curse you region restrictions!!!!!!!!

  5. Craig says:

This reminds me how great of an album Wye Oak’s Civilian was. And, of course, how great The Walking Dead is.

  6. Sal B says:

Holy crap on a stick!!! I am beyond pissing myself in utter excitement for October… just WOW!

  7. Scott B. says:

That was awesome! Two and a half months is going to be hard to wait, but wait I shall with baited breath.

  8. bc says:

I trust that you’re just being situationally stupid at the service of plot, dear Sheriff, but hiding under cars is already a proven BAD IDEA when walkers are approaching. They can smell you, remember? These are not your 28 days later/zombieland/dawn of the dead ’04 zombies, they don’t appear to have much knack for speed. Ergo, you must RUN or die, trooper! Wonder if his son got bitten?

  9. John says:

Hershel’s Farm!!! Sweet! I wonder if 13 episodes puts them into the prison. If not, they will probably have to stretch the source material a lot. They did a great job adding stuff in the first season, so I’m sure they can handle that. On the other hand, SHANE MUST DIE. ASAP.

  10. JB says:

Just no love for the swedes then….

  11. Evan says:

Holy crap. Even after 8 viewings seeing carl under the car by himself still makes me squirm. Can’t wait until October.

  12. Pete says:

That 4 1/2 minute trailer might now be in my top five favorite zombie movies…

  13. Phil says:

Crap, I have to get more ammo…….

  14. Julie says:

@JB – I’m in Canada and I was able to watch it.

And, watch it I did. That’s got my damned excited.

  15. Susan says:

is Chris going to be able to post the panels he is moderating as a podcast???

  16. JB says:

aww.. another one of those “only watchable in the US” trailers ..

or i cant watch it atleast
