You might recall that Jon Schnepp and Zenescope had gotten crowdfunding through Kickstarter for an animated version of the Grimm Fairy Tales comics. They raised $188,970 for the pilot, and, today, they’ve released the first three minutes of animation, with a cast including Lena Headey, Robert Forster, Laraine Newman, James Urbaniak, and, yes, our own Chris Hardwick.

Grimm looks dated and scripted by teen boys. Mortifera looks better produced and looks to have better writing.
That’s too bad. Looks more like $18 than $188,970.
Well, I knew Kickstarter would be used for evil eventually. I shouldn’t be surprised this is how it’s begun.
