Here’s A Look At Two Images from HEMLOCK GROVE Season 2

Netflix has just released two new stills from its Emmy-nominated series Hemlock Grove in preparation for the series’ upcoming Season 2 premiere. The images see Famke Janssen, who plays Olivia Godfrey, sitting alone (or is she?) and Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd’s Roman Godfrey, Landon Liboiron’s Peter Rumancek, Tiio Horn’s Destiny Rumancek and newcomer Madeline Brewer from Season 1 of the Netflix original series Orange is the New Black playing Miranda Cates.

Hemlock Grove is a supernatural thriller which explores the strange happenings in a small Pennsylvania town. The show focuses on the unlikely friendship between the founding family’s young heir, Roman Godfrey (Skarsgård), and gypsy newcomer and outsider, Peter Rumancek (Liboiron). Each holds a monstrous secret that has been unleashed. Season 2 continues with the town coming to grips with the shocking massacre incurred by one of its deadliest creatures. Roman and Peter are now faced with new responsibilities and the realities that come with adulthood.

There has been a bit of a changing of the guard behind the scenes at Hemlock Grove not only featuring new cast members but a new showrunner as well. Charles “Chic” Eglee of The Walking Dead and Dexter has taken over showrunner and executive producer responsibilities and a new writing staff has been put in place. The series is based on Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name and is produced by Gaumont International Television.

Season 2 of Hemlock Grove, starring Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron and Dougray Scott, premieres with ten episodes only on Netflix on Friday, July 11th at 12:01 AM PT.

Is Olivia blind now? The white cane and far-away look on her face hint at that.
