Her Universe Previews STAR WARS Dresses, Cardigans, and More for Celebration

In case you’ve forgotten, Star Wars Celebration invades Anaheim next week–in a good way. The convention runs from April 16-19, and like any convention, one aspect of the experience is shopping. If you’re in the market for some stylish Star Wars ladies apparel, Her Universe’s Celebration offerings might turn your head. Ashley Eckstein’s company is debuting a variety of new pieces at the event, including some stunning pin-up style dresses and casual t-shirts. Also, cupcakes.

You read that right. Eckstein loves cupcakes so she’s teamed up with Lil’ Miss Short Cakes and the Anaheim Convention Center to come up with some special Star Wars-themed desserts. There will be an exclusive cupcake for sale each day of the convention, but they’re limited. Only 150 will be available each day. I don’t know if I’ll be able to line up for cupcakes, but I’ll definitely be swinging by for the clothes.

The new items include a Salacious Crumb’s Bake Shop t-shirt (design by Chris Petescia), a glow-in-the-dark lightsaber shirt for women and children, a lightsaber skirt, an X-wing cardigan, a Cloud City pin-up dress, an Imperial officer cardigan, a Battle of Hoth pin-up dress, Star Wars heart dresses for adults and kids, a crocheted Ewok purse, an AT-AT t-shirt, an Ahsoka Lives t-shirt to celebrate Ahsoka Lives Day (full disclosure: I put together that event), a “May the Force Be With You” pullover sweatshirt, and a Star Wars Rebels Sabine costume tunic. Whew. Budget accordingly.

You’ll be able to hand over all your credits for these items (the rest are pictured below) at booth 934 at Celebration. It is likely that you’ll run into me because I have a hunch I’ll be making repeat visits. And visit Her Universe’s site to see all of their great nerdy offerings.
