A truly touching love ballad is hard to come by, and that might be because most love songs don’t approach romance in a way that modern audiences can relate to. Danny McBride and Susan Sarandon may have dueted on a tune that the younger, Tinder-using generation can understand, though. Today, Funny or Die shared a music video for “Meant To Be”, from the upcoming animated movie Hell and Back, and it is just filthy.
If you’re at work, maybe save this one for later, because subtlety is nowhere near this song. McBride and Sarandon’s characters croon very frankly to each other about how their respective genitalia first noticed each other from across the room and are meant for each other. The song does bring up a couple questions, though, like how does a scrotum do a back flip?
We’ll let “Meant To Be” speak for itself, mainly because out mothers don’t like when we use that kind of language.
The movie itself also seems great: It tells the tale of a halfhearted blood oath gone wrong and also features the voice talents of Nick Swardson, Mila Kunis, Bob Odenkirk, T.J. Miller, Rob Riggle, David Koechner, Michael Peña, Kumail Nanjiani, Paul Scheer, J.B. Smoove, Brian Posehn, Greg Proops and Lance Bass, among others. Hell and Back is set to hit theaters on October 2.
