Hawkeye Pours His Heart Out On THE TONIGHT SHOW With A Piano Ballad

Poor Hawkeye just can’t catch a break. Super-powerless as he may be, he’s still got feelings and took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to let us know just how super he actually is.

If you’re not tearing up after watching that than you might be just as unfeeling as Ultron, but your cold and unfeeling robotic heart has got to at least respect Hawkeye for finally getting out in front of his lack of super powers.

In the video, Jeremy “turns out I can totally sing” Renner belts some heartfelt lyrics to the tune of Ed Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud” and wants us to know that what he lacks in the way of his teammates’ super abilities he more than makes up for in other areas. It’s important to remember that whether it’s opening pickle jars, charming free guacamole out of Chipotle employees or kicking ass at Mario Kart–Hawkeye is a vital member of the Avengers. Hulk would smash the pickle jars, Captain America would likely be confused by the concept of a burrito, and we all know from Iron Man 2 that Tony Stark ruins race cars.

“But listen I’ve got powers too, they’re pretty sweet. I promise I can do so much more than just archery.”

Singing his heart out, our sad little archer laments, When you’re on a team with the Hulk and Thor, and we’re all up there on the movie screen, will the people believe that I’m not quite as tough? Will anyone even notice me?”

Don’t worry Hawkeye, we notice you. Although, just a thought, you may not want to openly admit you play in a ska band.

What do you think of Hawkeye’s song? Renner’s got some pipes eh? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
