Handheld Fireworks Cannons are as Crazy as You Imagine

People of all ages enjoy fireworks, that’s just science, but they can be so impersonal. Fired from a boat alone on the water, or in a field roped off from the masses, the experience can be so removed that you can’t help but think, “Sure, this is fun, but I’m just a passive participant, where’s my connection as a human?”

Well, fortunately for you, person that thinks about fireworks way too much, someone has found a way to keep all the awe and danger of fireworks, but made them more interactive with dual, handheld cannons that shoot Roman candles.

YouTube user iZHarms has uploaded a video the past three summers of him shooting his homemade devices in a field, surrounded by encouraging friends who don’t seem to be worried at all by the fact this is probably a horrible idea. This year he decided that one cannon wasn’t enough, so he made another one, strapped them both to his arms, and once again attacked an innocent field. Somehow the visuals exceed expectations, which is crazy since the description is “guy shoots two homemade firework cannons.”

Do I suggest you all try to make these? No, please, my god no this is terrifying. Am I denying that this is awesome? No, I’m only human. This is amazing and the eight-year-old in me can’t even handle it.

Tough to imagine what he’ll do next year to top this. Maybe add some cannon shoes? Or how about strap a cannon on his chest and call himself iZHavok?

What do you think he can do next year? How many years until he is more firework cannon than man? Blow us away with your ideas in the comments below.
