Celebrate HALLOWEEN’s 40th Anniversary at This Convention!

In 1978, director John Carpenter‘s Halloween introduced moviegoers to horror icon Michael Myers and launched the big screen career of Jamie Lee Curtis. And all these 40 years and seven sequels later, much like Michael Myers, it just won’t die. Curtis and Carpenter are both returning for a new Halloween outing this fall, and that revival has set the stage for the biggest Halloween convention to date.

Trancas International Films and HorrorHound Ltd. have announced plans for “H40: 40 Years of Terror,” scheduled to take place from October 12 to October 14 in the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA. The guest lineup has not yet been finalized, but the initial announcement promises that it will feature directors, stars, and crew from all 11 Halloween movies. The larger convention space will also be filled with “notable Halloween licensees” and more vendors than before.

Additionally, the H40 convention will offer fans the chance to purchase professional photo opportunities with the celebrity guests, as well as exclusive Halloween and H40 merchandise. The event will also include Q&A sessions with the cast and crew members, a Halloween artwork gallery, and a Horror’s Hallowed Grounds filming location tour.

For more information about H40, check out the official site here. Tickets and pricing details are not yet available, but they are likely to be announced soon along with the guest lineup and programming schedule. There’s also a Halloween 40 Facebook page that will provide updates as they come in.
