The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, VOL. 2 Cast Reveals Their Favorite Character

They’re intergalactic criminals-turned-heroes. They’re an unexpected family. They’re a bunch of a-holes. But most importantly, they are the Guardians of the Galaxy, a ragtag group of alien ass-kickers that protect us from all manner of cosmic threats. (Usually in the name of personal fame and fortune–but hey, who’s keeping track?) All of the Guardians of the Galaxy are lovable in their own way, but which Guardian do the actual Guardians like most? Does Baby Groot’s dance moves make their hearts melt? Does Drax’s literal interpretation of casual conversational idioms tickle their funny bones? Does Yondu’s whistle trigger a concentrated burst of dopamine in their brains?

Well, rather than sitting here and pontificating all day long, we sent our intrepid reporter/part-time Nova Corps member Hector Navarro to ask the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 cast in person. While at a press day in Los Angeles, Hector sat down with Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Zoe Saldana, and Michael Rooker reveal which Guardian of the Galaxy is nearest and dearest to their heart.

Honestly, it’s a difficult choice to make, and I think that the answer may change for a lot of people after seeing writer-director James Gunn’s excellent sequel. I’m still trying to decide who my favorite is. Maybe Rocket Raccoon? Maybe Drax? Hell, maybe even Yondu…

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 opens on May 5, 2017. Read our spoiler-free review, then let us know who y0ur favorite Guardian is in the comments below!
