Grayson Wants the Truth in BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL # 17 (Exclusive)

Is Batman a murderer? That’s the disturbing question posed by the latest issue of Batman and Robin Eternal, after a flashback depicted Bruce Wayne’s Batman doing the bidding of the enigmatic woman known as Mother!

Mother may have been responsible for grooming all of Batman’s previous Robins into the near perfect warriors they became. But Mother is apparently killing all of her “children,” which has forced the original Robin, Dick Grayson, to join his successors Red Hood (Jason Todd) and Red Robin (Tim Drake) in an attempt to stop Mother’s plans and unravel the mystery of their origins.

In Nerdist’s exclusive preview of Batman and Robin Eternal # 17, Grayson attempts to get answers from Orphan while using all of the resources at Spyral’s command. However, Orphan is more than prepared for their tactics, and Grayson may not like what he has to say.

You can read the full preview in our gallery below. Batman and Robin Eternal #17 features a story by James Tynion IV and Scott Snyder, with a script by Ed Brisson and art by Scot Eaton and Wayne Faucher.

Here’s DC’s solicitation copy for Batman and Robin Eternal #17:

“Grayson, Red Hood, Red Robin and Harper Row have uncovered the full scope of Mother’s dangerous operation, and they’re ready to spring their trap! But there’s one problem: Cassandra Cain has gone rogue, and they may not be able to pull her back from the edge! There’s no time to lose, either, because for every mystery they solve about Mother, there are more waiting to be discovered, including Mother’s next target, a place that couldn’t be more personal to Dick Grayson!”

Batman and Robin Eternal # 17 will be released on Wednesday, January 27.
