Gore Score And Seven Years Ago

The red band trailer for Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter is out, and I’m not sure what I think of it. There’s plenty of violence and gore, but it’s still hard for those of us who haven’t read the book to grasp whether the absurdity of the premise should make this more fun on a satirical level, or whether to just go with it as a bloody vampire-killin’ movie that just happens to have Abraham Lincoln in it.

I guess I have a month to decide. You in?

Oh it’s just fun! That director did amazing things with the action in Wanted, can’t wait to see what he does with this. The book is definitely worth a read, he weaves the story into Lincoln’s diary.

I just joke with some friends about Abe Lincoln replacing Dog the Bounty hunter.

Book? News to me. I’m in. I really like the idea of Abe Lincoln as an ass kicker. It’s a fun tie-in to Abe as Rail Splitter. I’m also a Mary Winstead fan, so, bonus. =)

  4. Jim says:

The book was amazing. If this movie can capture the spirit of the book at all. It will be worth it.

  5. Robert says:

Book was awesome. The trailers seem to be in line with the story. Only movie I’m more excited for is Batman
