UPDATED: Go Face to Face with New JURASSIC WORLD Posters

In anticipation of the new trailer being released Monday morning (You can watch the first trailer here), two new Jurassic World posters have been unveiled, each one proving that, when it comes to dinosaurs, bigger seems to always be better.

Jurassic-World1-04182015

This first poster depicts a kid at the aquarium.  I live in Seattle, and when I take my niece to the aquarium here, it’s always the shark that’s chasing the smaller fish around; in Jurassic World, the shark is one that looks to be on the run. The Mosasaurus is new to the franchise, and it seems to be the Shamu of the park, just without the part when little kids can go up and feed it.

Jurassic-World2-04182015

The second poster shows Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) in a staring contest with what I am guessing will become the REAL star of the film, Indominus Rex. My real question is what material does the park use for its windows? If it’s strong enough for someone to have a face-to-face with a genetically-created dinosaur, I want my entire car made out of it.

Chris-Pratt-04192015

UPDATE (04/19): Chris Pratt posted on his Twitter account earlier today this new poster as well. In it, we see Pratt’s character Owen riding through the jungle on his motorcycle surrounded by Raptors. Raptors? The villains of the previous movies? Helping a human? As if the excitement for this movie wasn’t already at an all-time high.

Jurassic World will be released June 12th, 2015, and stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Judy Greer (Archer), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3). It is directed by Colin Trevorrow and produced by Universal and Legendary Pictures.

What say you? Do these posters whet your whistle for some shark steak? Are you wondering why people in this world consistently think that creating (on purpose) creatures that can destroy us all for the sake of tourism is a good idea? Sound off in the comments below!
