Man, Netflix‘s revival of Gilmore Girls just keeps getting better and better. They’re bringing in tons of familiar faces from the past, and they’ve been working on getting all of Rory’s ex-beaus to join the party. Matt Czuchry’s Logan has already been confirmed to return, and as of Wednesday, we know Milo Ventimiglia will be back as Jess Mariano. Those are Rory’s two bests love interests, so as far as I’m concerned, everything is perfect.

Series showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino divulged to TVLine that Rory is single in the revival “in the sense that she’s not married.” She’s dating though. But will she be dating anyone from the past? I don’t know. When we last saw Jess, Rory sort of led him on by stopping by his publishing company’s open house despite still being involved with Logan. They parted ways on relatively good terms, but there were unresolved feelings. I hope to see Jess as Rory’s friend… and as a successful author.
At this point, the only ex not confirmed for the revival is Jared Padalecki. He’s busy with Supernatural, but I hope he can make scheduling work. Sherman-Palladino also told TVLine their plan “is to get as many of the lovely men back as possible.” I’m curious to know what Dean has been up to. He seems like he’d be married with two children and a dog by now.
