Did you know in America that if you lose over 100 pounds you are legally required to take a photo holding your old pair of pants? (I think it’s in the Constitution.) But one Japanese company has found a far greater use for oversized trousers than a visual humblebrag by turning them into an adorable two-person sleeping bag.
We came across these sleepy time slacks at RocketNews24, and they come from the Japanese company Felissimo. Inspired by their very warm sweatpants line, they decided it was time to turn that comfortable design into a sleeping bag. But they didn’t just keep the same material, they kept the pants shape for their new Super-big Wrapped in Warmth and Happy Fuzzy-lined Sleeping Bag (the product’s actual name).
This sleeping bag really is as big as it looks, at over eight feet in length and over four feet wide.
It runs for about 42,000 yen (around $380), and has a zipper at the top to give you more breathing room or freedom if you start to chafe, or to make it easier to get cozy with your pants mate. But these wouldn’t really be pants if you couldn’t walk in them, which is why they made it so you can also unzip the cuffs at the bottom so you can move around.
No, the polar bear does not come with the pants, you have to get your own stuffed animal. And make sure you pick a cute one, because remember, in America, it’s a law you have to post a photo of you and your giant pants.
What stuffed animal would be the most appropriate one to sleep in a huge pair of jeans with? Tell us in the comments below.
