At this point it’s almost impossible for Deadpool to surprise us anymore, but he almost always finds a way. Recently, to onlookers’ delights, the Merc With a Mouth returned to Tokyo in a big way. Like, literally big. A giant Deadpool has been spotted roaming the streets of Harajuku, blasting music and encouraging everyone to see his upcoming film Deadpool 2.

Deadpool might be lying down on the job, but that doesn’t mean he’s not working hard to promote his upcoming film.
One pedestrian reported him blasting the song “Calendar Girl” from the Deadpool soundtrack as he drove by; in 2016, it seemed like dance songs were also his music of choice. That’s right, this giant Deadpool has made the journey around the streets of Japan before, when the first movie hit the country two years ago.
If you were wondering, that’s what the signs on the truck say, proclaiming the return of Deadpool (and his truck) to Japan. Along with a poop emoji, because Deadpool.
Deadpool’s not stopping there, though. He’s big enough to admit that the first Deadpool film had been beaten at the box office by “the clawed wonder” Hugh Jackman in The Greatest Showman, and Ryan Reynolds isn’t afraid to do or say what it takes to get theaters filled.
Then again, Reynolds isn’t half-bad at singing, as we discovered when he stopped by a Korean singing show, so maybe a Deadpool musical isn’t entirely out of the question.
Deadpool 2 is out May 18, 2018 in the United States and June 1, 2018 in Japan.
What would you do if you saw a giant Deadpool roaming the streets? Tell us in the comments.
