The Floating Hospital for Children at Tuft’s Medical Center in Boston had a problem. They wanted to bring smiles to the faces of their patients. Lucky for them, they knew just who to call.
Taking time out from filming the new Ghostbusters film, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones surprised the kids with a visit. Much like Johnny Depp a few weeks ago, they took the extra step and arrived in their full Ghostbusting gear.
As you can see in the gallery below, the quartet toured the hospital, talking with patients and taking pictures. They even let some of them hold on to the iconic proton packs. That alone is enough to raise anyone’s spirits.
Even though no ghosts showed up to do battle, I am sure all the kids now know that, should Gozer ever come back, they’ve got protection on speed dial.
It’s been said before, but it’s good to know that we respect and admire these larger-than-life people not only for the characters they play and the stories they tell, but also for the people they are. You can definitely put these four ladies in the “have priorities in order” category.
Ghostbusters, also starring Chris Hemsworth, Michael K. Williams, and Neil Casey, and directed by Paul Feig, will be released July 22nd, 2016.
So what do you think? Aren’t these ladies just the best? Could this visit be any more cooler? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
