Get Your First Look Inside Wizarding World’s Gringotts Bank

Are you ready to meet the goblins of Gringotts Bank? You’ll be able to see them in person soon, since Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World expansion is set to open this summer. The development will add Diagon Alley, and visitors will also be able to take the Hogwarts Express between the new area and the existing village of Hogsmeade. The star attraction of Diagon Alley is Escape from Gringotts, and it will show park visitors the inside of the majestic bank – complete with goblins!

Universal has done a tremendous job with the theming in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and it’s fair to expect that the additions will meet the same level of quality. A first look video released by Universal showcases the interior of Gringotts Bank and its goblin employees, and the set looks like it’s from the Harry Potter films.

Now that I’ve watched the video sneak peek again, I find the goblins to be intimidating. It’s hard to tell whether the queue for the attraction will wind around the bank’s lobby with all the goblins or whether the area serves as the first part of the attraction. You know, kind of like the elevator in Disney’s Haunted Mansion. Universal’s official description of the ride states, “Enter Gringotts bank at the far end of Diagon Alley and walk through the grand marble lobby where you’ll see goblins hard at work.” It could go either way.

While you’re exploring the upcoming additions to Wizarding World, enjoy this recently posted behind the scenes look at Hogwarts Express:
