Yoo-hoo! It’s the opposite of a big summer blowout on Once Upon a Time as they bring in at least one more character from Frozen. Darcey Johnson is joining the icy party as none other than Oaken of Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. We’ve got our first look at Oaken as he appears in the series, and while he may not be the towering fellow that he was in the animated film, he does have utterly fabulous hair.

Why isn’t Disney marketing Oaken’s sweaters for the holiday season? And that hat. Forget it, they could really sell a whole line of Oaken-inspired winter wear. If it’s related to Frozen, it flies off shelves. I’m pretty sure those are the rules.

It looks like we’ll be seeing Oaken in his natural habitat. I’m convinced he’s secretly a magic user because how is it possible that the single winter dress and boots he had in stock were Anna’s size? That’s nothing short of sorcery. I expect to hear at least one “yoo-hoo” and some joking about how his sauna business isn’t doing so well since Elsa regained control of her powers.

Seriously though, I’m not sure if he’ll have a major role in the story. His appearance will likely just be a cool geek out moment for fans of Frozen, and I appreciate all the touches they’re bringing over to live action.
