Itâs been one heck of a ride this past season with Marvelâs grand television experiment, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Since the beginning of the series freshman outing, weâve watched Team Coulson cheat death, stop super-powered baddies, uncover alien corpses, create amazing new technology and be betrayed by their own people, all while delivering some very snappy quips along the way. Now, with less than a week to go before the season finale, ABC and Entertainment Weekly have unveiled one final teaser poster for âBeginning of the End.â
In addition, a new, three minute clip featuring Coulson and the team readying for an assault is available on ABC.com for cable and satellite customers. We highly recommend you check it out, because itâs got one of the most badass Coulson âgear upâ moments ever, and it also features a look into whatâs happened to Garrett after the ending of the previous episode.
As for the poster, considering Hydraâs been such a great adversary for our merry band of agents, it seems only fitting the art would tease everything coming to ahead with the criminal organization. Of course it would be nice if we could get some hints into the fates of Fitz and Simmons after the most recent episode where…
[SPOILER]
…Ward dropped them into the ocean!

Let us also not forget that Nick Fury himself has been confirmed to be appearing in the finale, so this is definitely not one to miss.
What do you guys hope to see in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale? Tell us below.

If Fits and Simmons die I’m going to blow up a taco!!!!
I want to say I love the look Skye is giving Ward.
I also think Fitz lead Simmons into the med pod on purpose, hoping Ward would eject it rather then forcing the doors open to shoot them.
Where’s BJ Britt in this poster? He’s the best character on that show now. And he’s got Howlin’ history.
I keep thinking that maybe Ward is like a double agent….but dude, he’s killed so many people. At this point it doesn’t even matter. Super Evil Man – at least he didn’t kill Buddy.
Who was watching Buddy get away? It seemed like Garrett but they never let us know. Maybe it was Nick Fury and he IS a triple agent. Hmmm…
I think Ward killed Buddy. He just couldn’t look him in the eye and do it.
I think Ward dropped them in the ocean to save them. He’s going to sacrifice on the plane to take out Garrett.
WHY IS WARD NEXT TO THEM!! EVIL MAN!!
Naming your file unnamed1.jpg is never cool
does anyone know if shield has been picked up for a second season?
It hasn’t yet. But word is good. ABC hasn’t announced anything for any show yet.
Fingers crossed that it does. This show got better and better with each episode. I feel for the folks who gave up on it in the beginning – it’s been a huge pay off :o)
It is expected to get picked up!
It’s officially been picked up along with a Captain America spin-off
