Get a Look at the Upcoming ARROW/FLASH Crossover Event With Over a Dozen Photos

There seems to be no stopping the superheroic dominance of The CW’s small-screen TV universe: Arrow and The Flash. Since the beginning of the fall season, both shows have been delivering A+ content, and with no signs of slowing down, executive producer Greg Berlanti knew he had to strike while the iron was hot. That’s what has led to the upcoming two-night crossover event that will pit Barry Allen against Oliver Queen. Now, with mere weeks to go before the television spectacle takes place, the network has released a whole new set of promos pics to whet your appetite. Check ‘em out:

For the unaware, the synopsis of the event is as follows: Barry is thrilled when Oliver, Felicity and Diggle come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he’d like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the metahuman Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn’t go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage-fueled rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris is furious when Eddie tries to get a task force to stop The Flash, Joe and Dr. Wells agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry, and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs.

While that may sound like a lot of plot to get through, remember there’s a reason this event needs to be two nights long. If there’s one thing Berlanti has proven over the last three years, it’s that he’s never content with keeping things simple or letting story run longer than required. We have no doubt whatever the showrunner has in store, it will be as fast-paced as Barry himself, and when the dust clears, don’t be surprised if both shows are in a widely different place than where they started.

Remember, this is the same Greg Berlanti that killed off a major Arrow character in the season premiere. Nothing is off the table.

The Arrow/Flash two-night event starts Tuesday, December 2nd at 8pm on The CW.

i really wish these shows could be on better networks. the CW ruins their potential with the mandatory relationship drama almost every episode.
