George R. R. Martin’s Upcoming Non-GAME OF THRONES Projects

Now that Season 5 of Game of Thrones is over (read our recap here) and the long, cold Winter-of-Waiting us upon us, fans of the written page can return to obsessing over the delay of The Winds of Winter, George R. R. Martin’s long-awaited sixth installment of A Song of Ice and Fire. But before George R. R. can finish writing his next dragon-filled fantasy tome, he has to read all of your comments.

The author’s “Not A Blog” has been stuffed like a suggestion box by fans displeased with recent events on the HBO show, even though Martin is no longer involved in production. He’s taken to his Livejournal to ask viewers to take their whining elsewhere, and used the post as an opportunity to boast about several upcoming non-Game of Thrones projects. But what does the writer have up his sleeve!?

Join Jessica Chobot on today’s Nerdist News as we imagine what projects G.R.R.M will bring to television in the future and beg you to leave the scribe alone so he can WRITE THE DANG BOOK!

Thanks for watching today’s show! Don’t miss any of our extensive E3 coverage this week (Fallout 4!!), and tell us what kind of TV series you want George R. R. Martin to make next in the comments below.
