While Nintendo dominated most of gaming news this week, there are a couple of things we think will pique your interest before you head off into the weekend. In today’s Gaming Daily, somebody recreated the Game of Thrones intro with Little Big Planet 3, developer Starbreeze sold their critically acclaimed game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons to 505 Games, and players found a secret game in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. 

Game of Thrones intro recreated in LBP 3 took 2 weeks. 

Talk about impressive! In conjunction with an individual who goes by AAAAALEC on the interweb, Jamie Colliver spent two weeks creating the Game of Thrones intro using Little Big Planet 3’s level creator. According to a statement Colliver made to Polygon, the entirety of the video, even the music, was created in game.

The creative team was able to concoct a constant flowing path via transitioning from camera to camera. The way the camera swoops in and glides across the surface just goes to show how much you can bend the games’ creative tools to create something truly dynamic.

 Starbreeze rakes in $500,000 after selling hit game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Remember that unique game that featured a pair of brothers working together to warm the hearts of players everywhere in 2013? Well according to Starbreeze CEO Bo Andersson Klint, the $500,000.00 sale of Brothers to 505 Games–the original publisher–marks the “final transition to the digital strategy.”

He continued, “With Brothers, we’ve created a strong and critically acclaimed IP, which we now feel can be best nurtured under a new owner.” According to Klint, Starbreeze’s main focus from this day forward will be on building out its franchises.

On behalf of 505 Games, President Ian Howe noted, “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a remarkable game, one of the most affecting games of the last generation and one of which 505 Games has been very proud to be associated. This acquisition reflects 505 Games’ stated strategy of owning and controlling its own IP, and, moreover, IP that can contribute something meaningful to the world of interactive entertainment.”

At the time of writing, 505 Games does not have any future plans for the Brothers series.

Gamers found a secret RPG Easter Egg in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.

Ah, don’t you just love the internet. On the latest episode of AH Community’s YouTube channel, Jake, Riles and DBenitez87 showed viewers how to find a hidden gun in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The weapon, plainly named Weapon_RPG, can be found off the beaten path in the “Throttle” level.

Unsurprisingly, the gun you probably weren’t supposed to find is pretty glitched. For some reason, the gun makes no sound once shot. If you want to score this bad boy for yourself, check out the video above for a walkthrough.
