GAMING DAILY: Mike Tyson Takes on Himself in Punch-out

It’s Halloween’s eve everybody! I know what you’re thinking– the holiday is upon us and so there probably isn’t much news. Though you are partially correct, we’ve dug up a couple of gold nuggets just for you. In today’s Gaming Daily, Mike Tyson fights himself, Destiny’s first expansion gets details and November’s PlayStation Plus titles have been revealed. What are we waiting for? Lets go!

Mike Tyson attempted to defeat himself in Punch-out.

Nothing says meta like Mike Tyson going mano a mano with his virtual self. During last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the ex-pro boxer picked up an NES controller and faced off against himself in the 1987 classic Punch-out!! (at the host’s request of course.) Though he proved unsuccessful, the look on his face as he dukes it out is enough for a good laugh.

This isn’t the first time Tyson has played the game. Last year, he played the Nintendo title he made famous for the first time ever and took out Glass Joe in one go.

Destiny Expansion The Dark Below

Bungie revealed more details on Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below

Destiny’s first expansion will be available for download December 9th and will feature brand new weapons and gear to be obtained through new story, co-op and multiplayer modes. Included in the expansion is a a new tower-dwelling NPC by the name of Eris who comes to warn of impending Hive activity. He’ll be offering special quests at the tower–three of which increase your Light levels and offer new rewards.

The co-op strike The Will of Crota will make it’s debut as well as three brand new competitive multiplayer arenas: Pantheon, Skyshock, and The Cauldron. Probably one of the most exciting additions on the way is the six player raid entitled Crota’s End. The raid set deep in Hellmouth should hopefully bring a breath of fresh air to those who’ve already tired of doing the vex infested Vault of Glass.

The expansion will be available for download on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One December 9, 2014 individually for $19.99 or as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass for $34.99.

PS+ Games

Sony’s November PlayStation Plus lineup is here a bit early.

Sony’s recent promo trailer for the latest update has revealed November’s PlayStation Plus lineup. Subscribers will be able to play popular titles such as The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Escape Plan and SteamWorld Dig. Also, since a few of these are cross-buy, the Vita will be getting some much needed love.
