Good evening to all of you fine folks out there! Today was busy times in the gaming world for a post-E3 day, but who’s complaining? Though I may be reeling over the fact that there could have been an F-Zero game developed by Criterion. Le sigh! Even so, I’ve collected myself to deliver you all the latest and greatest in gaming. Today’s Gaming Daily features an introduction to the voices that you’ll be hearing during your Fallout 4 playthrough, a look at the sleek new Forza 6 Xbox One bundle, PlayStation’s big Driveclub PS+ Edition no-no from this morning, and more!
Your male and female voices actors for Fallout 4‘s protagonists
Been wondering who some of the voice actors for Fallout 4 are who are not named Ron Perlman? The lead designer and writer for the game, Emil Pagliarulo, dropped a couple names right before us at the Bethesda booth during E3 last week via twitter:

You may remember that you get to customize a few aspects of your character at the beginning of Fallout 4, gender being one of those. Playing as a female character will grace you with the wonderful vocals of Courtnay Taylor, who’s best known for her work on the Mass Effect series as Jack. She’s also voiced Ada Wong in Resident Evil 6 and Amanda Holliday in Destiny. Totally not expecting you to recognize that last one due to Destiny‘s lack of narrative and character development, but I felt it was worth a mention. You may have heard the male voice actor in titles such as Evolve, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and the recently released Batman Arkham Knight. Should you choose to play as a man, your character will don the sultry vocals of one Brian T. Delaney, who’s currently doing voice work in Halo 5 and Mighty No. 9. Now we can put a face with the voices that will be invading our eardrums when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 10, 2015. HT: EGMNow
Batman: Arkham Knight launches today, PC version experiences issues
The wait for the conclusion of Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Batman video game series is finally over. Arkham Knight hit shelves today and our very own Edwin Garcia had nothing but good things to say about his time with the PlayStation 4 version of the game. However, the game has been experiencing a host of issues over in its PC iteration, making it damn near unplayable for mouse-and-keyboard warriors. The Steam reviews tell quite the story if you want a bit of insight on what players are experiencing. We’ll be sure to keep you guys informed on any fixes inbound to remedy this irritating debacle. Xbox One backward compatibility will support Xbox 360 DLC
Microsoft announcing backward compatibility for the Xbox One on Day 0 at E3 was pretty much a haymaker of sorts to the entire PlayStation Now game-streaming service. And while we don’t know the full library of 360 games that will be compatible with this feature, we do know that over 100 titles will be functioning as soon as this holiday season. Now fans looking to utilize this feature have even more good news to couple with their backward compatibility aspirations. Xbox Support confirmed with Eurogamer that the DLC of any backward compatible 360 titles will also be supported. This is great news given how DLC heavy last generation was, and perfect news to go along with that sleek Forza 6 Xbox One bundle that Microsoft unveiled earlier. HT: Eurogamer
Final Fantasy VII Director aiming for reimagination and not full-on remake.
If the possibility of the Final Fantasy VII remakeâwhich was announced at E3 last weekâ messing up the magic of the original is a cause for your concerns, you’ll be happy to know that the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura, has thought about you in advance. Today, Nomura went on record stating that the new game will be more of a reimagining of Final Fantasy VII than a remake, meaning that some of the key moments from the original game will be omitted. Now before you go and get all table-flippy about this, it’s probably worth pointing out that the original game featured strictly chat box dialogueâsomething that was totally plausible during that era of gaming. Recreating some of the game’s finer moments with actual audio would be tough, and possibly damaging. I doubt they’ll deviate from the original story too much, but I personally don’t mind them changing things from an execution standpoint. Either way, all of our trust belong to you Mr. Nomura! Please don’t let us down. HT: Nerdist
Driveclub PS+ Edition goes up on the PSN Store, only to be taken right back down.
Woops! Looks like the folks at Evolution Studios, or Sony Computer Entertainment, or someone jumped the gun on putting Driveclub PS+ Edition up in the PlayStation Store. There had been no news of the game going live today, so many questions began to fly when it surfaced on the PlayStation Store this morning. Of course, action was taken fast and the game was immediately removed, accompanied by the following tweet from the game’s official Twitter page.
Store update today with the DRIVECLUB PS+ Edition was premature. The servers aren’t ready yet, so it’s been removed while we get them ready.

There’s a weird mixture of confusion, disappointment, and anger brewing from this development. Many are confused because Driveclub PS+ edition was suppose to be available when the PS4 launched, but has somehow managed to fall into obscurity after the game’s rough initial launch. Some are disappointed that the game has taken this long to be put togetherâdespite the PS+ edition being freeâbecause it was promised as a launch title. Others are just tired and angry of the situation, especially those who went out and purchased the full title only to be met with a slew of server issues. If anything, at least we know the game is still on the way. I’ll take one positive thing from this situation, dammit! HT: Driveclub Twitter
