We’ve nearly made it through another week,sd everybody. With Friday only a day away, I’m sure you’re trying to plan out your weekend. I know I still have a ton of Destiny to play, but LEGO Dimensions has also been stealing quite a bit of my time. As for today, we still have a bit of news to run through. In today’s Gaming Daily, Hideo Kojima posted a picture of himself  hanging out with PS4 architect Mark Cerny on Twitter, the pre-order program for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was cancelled, the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris are back in Destiny, Minecraft: Story Mode got a brand new trailer, and Platinum Games discusses Star Fox Zero’s delay.
Hideo Kojima and Mark Cerny have been hanging out.
Well look what we have here. After Hideo Kojima’s messy departure from Konami–including the unfortunate cancellation of Silent Hills–a lot of people have been wondering where the father of Metal Gear would bring his talent next. There’ve been a ton of rumors, but it’s the tweet above that’s really got people talking.
Just in case you don’t know who the other man is, that’s the PS4’s lead architect Mark Cerny–who also directed the Sony-exclusive Knack, and has worked as a design consultant on a ton of games including God of War III, and Killzone 3.
Sure, the photo is casual, and probably doesn’t mean much, but it sure is fun to theorize Kojima’s next move. It’s also important to point out that Cerny isn’t exactly a Sony employee, but an independent contractor of sorts. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.

Square Enix Cancels Deus Ex: Mankind Divided pre-order program.
Remember that shady “Augment Your Pre-order” program Square Enix set up for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? Well, I guess people complained about it enough because the publisher announced via the game’s official site that they are canceling it. They chock it up to realizing that their approach–which they thought had good intentions–ended up creating “even more frustration than before, resulting in a resounding amount of negative feedback.” For more on what  they plan to do instead, check out our full article (linked below).

The Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris are coming back to Destiny for a limited time.
I’m sure my fellow Guardians will appreciate this. During the weekly update over on the Bungie Blog, the developer revealed that both Lord Saladin and Brother Vance will will be making their way back to the tower on October 13, and October 16 respectively. If you’re familiar with those two names, you’ll know that means that The Iron Banner and the Trials of Osiris competitive multiplayer modes will be returning. What’s more is they’ll each be coming with a few changes.
When Saladin returns to the tower, you’ll be able to control the zones once more, level up and select your weapon of choice. While the alt catch-up buff and Iron Medallion mechanics remain the same, there are several tweaks to the mode including: the tempered buff is now automatically applied and continues to grow in effectiveness each day of the event, weapons and armor  matching the same items Saladin sells will now be potential match completion awards, drop rates have increased, legendary marks will replace glimmer as currency for purchasable weapons, and more.
As for the Trials of Osiris, though undefeated players will still be invited to the Lighthouse, and passage coins will still drop from the losers, Trials gear will now drop exclusively as end-of-match rewards for winning teams, Vance will offer special bounties each weekend, revives will have distinct audio cues, and more.

Platinum Games’ Yusuke Hashimoto discusses delay of Star Fox: Zero, reveals that both screens are running at 60 fps.
Earlier this month, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto revealed via Facebook that Star Fox: Zero–which was originally slated to release this year–would be delayed until 2016. While we didn’t receive much information, Platinum Games’ Yusuke Hashimoto, who’ll be co-directing the game with Miyamoto, chatted about the delay a bit and revealed that the both screens (TV and the one on the gamepad) are currently running at 60 fps in an interview with GameSpot.
Hashimoto notes that the two screens are unique, and while Bayonetta 2 merely utilized the second screen as a touch pad, Miyamoto’s idea for Star Fox was to create a shooting game that used both screens. He notes that the fact that they’ve gotten them both running at 60 fps is a milestone in gaming, and not something they’ve done before.
But unfortunately, one of the things that we, along with many others, noticed when we got our hands on the game during E3, is that the mechanics were a bit awkward. When Miyamoto announced the delay earlier this month, he explained that it was because it needed more polish. Hashimoto added to this sentiment, stating that they also wanted to give the game more of that “Platinum Feel.”
Hashimoto explained, “We want to make it feel as great as possible. It’s easy to say [it was delayed] to increase its quality, or whatever, but that entails a lot, whether it be visuals, or controls.”
