Thinking of calling in sick for Fallout 4? Bethesda’s got you covered.
If you were planning on conveniently coming down with a cold, the flu, or maybe even appendicitis tomorrow, but were worried your boss wouldn’t accept the excuse without a legitimate doctor’s note, have no fear! Bethesda’s VP of PR, Pete Hines is here to save the dayâwell kind of!
As far as we know, Hines isn’t a doctor, but according to the note he released on Twitter, he has his M.D., PhD, MBA, and his BYOC. Man, that guy must have been busy. No wonder it took so long for Bethesda to announce Fallout 4. Heh.
Jokes aside, the note might actually work if your supervisor isn’t paying attention. If you’re bold enough to try it tomorrow, let us know.
Our Fallout 4 review hit the web today.
We’ve been talking about Fallout 4 a lot lately, but I’m sure the question a lot of people have on their minds, is: is it good? Well, according to our own resident gaming editor Malik Forté, it most certainly is. In fact, he rated it 5 RADical burritos out of 5! So, it sounds like you have nothing to worry aboutâif you were even worried at all. To read his detailed impressions of the game, head on over to the full review (linked below).

Latest PS4 firmware update fixes stability issues.
Ahh, updates. Who doesn’t love a good update, especially when it’s mandatory? Okay, they aren’t really that exciting, but hey, at least it means the console maker is going to fix an issue you’ve been having. Sony recently rolled out a new firmware update for the PlayStation 4, which fixes an issue that the system was having with stability.
As I’m sure you’re already aware, most major updates are mandatory if you wan’t to access the PS4’s network. So, if you were planning on jumping on Black Ops III or Destiny when you get home, you’re going to have to wait a bit for update v3.11 to download, before you dig in.
Thankfully, the file is a small 250 MB, and probably won’t take that long to complete. With the PS4’s ability to download while it is in rest mode, I’m assuming that it will probably be done by the time you get homeâas long as you didn’t completely shut it down after you last used it.

Microsoft lists 104 backwards compatible games you’ll be able to download on the Xbox One.
When Microsoft revealed that the Xbox One would be featuring backwards compatibility during their E3 press conference, people lost their minds. It was a surprise that nobody was expecting. Although Sony has reiterated time and time again that they don’t plan on supporting that feature on the PS4âmostly because of how the system itself is builtâMicrosoft took to the web today with a list of 104 backwards compatible titles that will be available once November 12 rolls around. A few highlights include: Borderlands, Doom, Fallout 3, Gears of War, and Viva Piñata. To see what else made the cut, check out our full article (linked below).

Expensive Dark Souls IIIÂ “Prestige Edition” leaks
If you’re as excited for Dark Souls 3 as I am, you’re definitely going to like this next bit of news. Somehow, an image detailing a special editionâcurrently unannounced, ooohâhas found its way to the internet. As with most leaks, this one comes from another retailer with happy fingers. In this case, the pre-order listing comes from United Arab Emirates retailer Geekay Games.
As seen in the image above, the “Prestige Edition” supposedly comes with a 40 CM Lord of Cinder Figurine, 3 iron on patches, a hardcover art book, a cloth map, the soundtrack, a copy of the game in a metal case, and a collector’s box. All of this can be yours for a measly $450! Ouch.
If that one’s not your jam, there’s also the “Collector’s Edition” which features all of the same items, but with a 25 Cm Red Knight Figurine instead of the massive LoC one. We’re not sure on pricing for this one, but the retailer has both listings with an April 12 release date, which is in line with the title’s worldwide release.
