You’d think with the release of Destiny tonight at midnight, it’d be time to stop the press. Totally wrong. There’s a ton of juicy gaming developments that hit the web to start the week, including some Batman game updates and some things to look forward to at Tokyo Game Show 2014.
Holy Cheetos! Batman: Arkham Knight pushed to 2015
We can shine the bat-signal in the sky all we want, but Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be making an appearance until summer next year. Warner Bros. Interactive announced this morning that the official release date for Batman: Arkham Knight is June 2, 2015. The game is still set to release on the Xbox One, PC and PS4.
Along with the announcement of today’s release date was the unveiling of a couple special editions of the game. The limited edition comes with an art book, SteelBook case and game disc, the Arkham Knight #0 comic, an exclusive skin pack with three The New 52 skins, and a Batman memorial statue. The collector’s edition, which is pictured above and called the Batmobile edition, comes with everything included in the limited edition with exclusion of the Batman memorial statue, as well as the inclusion of a sweet-ass transforming Batmobile statue. It’s enough to make any bat-fanatic soil their pants.
TV sitcoms Seinfeld and Friends crash the Sims 4.
One of the strong points for EA’s Maxis’ Sims 4, is definitely the game’s custom content creator. Sims 4 user IanRoach took it upon himself to recreate the imagery of two of the 90’s most prolific television sitcoms.
Pretty great, right? Let’s take a second and swallow the mountain of nostalgic drool resting in our throats.
