The Gamerator Is The Most Beautiful Thing I’ve Ever Seen

Sometimes, a product comes on the market that is so ingenious that you have to wonder why you didn’t think of it. This is one of those products.

I present to you the single greatest thing ever in the history of everything: the Gamerator.

The Gamerator is a full-size arcade cabinet that comes installed with a 26” HD monitor and a desktop PC, pre-loaded with over 85 classic arcade games. Nothing special, you say? Well, I haven’t told you about the refrigerated interior that can hold a full-size keg!

The front of the Gamerator features a tap so you can draw directly from the cold keg without leaving your game of Robotron. Oh, and there are cupholders right above the joysticks. If it could dispense cheese fries, it would be heaven.

This thing could spawn a whole new generation of drinking games:

-“Finish” someone in Mortal Kombat (perform a Fatality) and your opponent must “finish” his or her beer.
-However many Space Invaders reach the bottom, chug for that many seconds.
-Drink, play Sinistar, and try not to pee your pants.

If you’re under 21 or just not a drinker, you can always get a delicious Root Beer keg or another non-alcoholic equivalent. For those who are over 21, please remember to drink responsibly, and don’t drink and Joust.

  1. CassiCost says:

I thought I had it good with my house having a kegerator. Now I want more. MORE!

  2. I’m speechless. This is a beautiful thing.

  3. Thomas says:

I like it. I build one myself a few years back. http://www.twcm.nl/cabinet/cabinet.htm – no keg though, i never drink and game.

  4. james says:

Would be awesome if the controls were not at an angle (to the screen) which is terrible for anyone who plays fighting games.

  5. Scrufy 1 says:

So is this made by the same people that made the kegerator game cabinet+steering wheel?

  6. dragoncores says:

is it wrong that i want to paw off to this pic. that matchine is just so damn sexy. (and no I am not really going to do that)

  7. Andrew Cardona says:

I would buy this, even though I don’t drink alcohol. I could fill it with kool-aid or Sun tea, lots of Sun Tea.

  8. Chuck says:

But I already have a keg-orator… Full of home-brew sitting next to a better computer.

  9. Deltus says:

So… beautiful… *single tear streams down cheek*

  10. WulfBane says:

The true irony would be if it was unable to play Tapper.

  11. Frank0127 says:

I’m pretty sure this requires a counterpart– An arcade cabinet, hollowed out, and turned into a chair.

    Nay, a throne.

  12. Whatsername says:

I’m pretty sure I’d never leave my house…

  13. Cass says:

Don’t put Old Milwalkee in there either……everyone will hate you

  14. It’s true, the computer setup is a piece of cake. The refrigeration unit might be trickier, but it’s not like you need a perfect seal, since you’re just keeping the keg cold. I’m sure you could probably get some working fridge parts for next to nothing, too.

  15. DefconDan says:

I totally dig the idea but why the heck would I pay 3500 for something that you could had fun building probably for 1/2 that… Long Live MAME!!! Even if it is like 100 omfg-gigs nowadays.

  16. Erik says:

This is pretty awesome! The only thing missing is a CRT monitor. So you can, ya know, play Duck Hunt.
