It couldn’t have been planned more perfectly. As this gamer, who operates under the alias Jackafur, was completing his speed run of the N64 classic Mischief Makers in front of 140,000 of live viewers, he decided that there’d be no better time to pose one of the most important questions of his life. Jackafur started by sincerely thanking his friends for supporting him through a tough year, before turning to his girlfriendâ who was right by his sideâ and popping that sweet, sweet question. Watch the entire event play out in the video below:
Aw, shucks! I’m not a sappy guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t moved by this act of “less than three” (<3). Everything was on cue: the lead in, the girlfriend’s answer, the room’s reaction, and the game launching celebratory fireworks as the couple embraced. The best part about this is that it all took place during an event known as Awesome Games Done Quick, a speed running marathon orchestrated to raise money for Prevent Cancer Foundation. You can practically feel the good vibes in the room just by watching the video, and this is just more proof that damn near anything can happen on Twitch TV.
Did you drown in the tears from the excessive kawaii in this bit? Have you seen any other stellar video game-related proposals in recent time? Let me know in the comments below.

Wow how rude. This guy disrupts one of the best scenes from one of the best N64 games just so he can ask his girl to marry him. They missed that whole scene. How selfish.
One should not distract those watching Mischief Makers.
