HBO understands how painful this wait has been for you, fans of Game of Thrones. Which is probably why they’re pulling out all the stops in the lead-up to its hotly anticipated fourth season of the George R.R. Martin fantasy epic turned television series, like with this teaser for yet another special set to hit our airwaves in advance of the April 6th premiere. Clearly, the series is prepping for something big.

Titled The Politics of Power: A Look Back at Season 3, the tease features the actors behind Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Catelyn Stark, and Jaime Lannister chatting about the dramatic twists and turns their characters narrowly navigated during last season. It’s no doubt a primer for the increasingly intense-sounding season four. Considering the trajectories yet to play out on screen for each of these characters in particular, we can’t say we’re at all surprised that HBO’s decided to rehash the machinations of last year’s truly epic and mind-bending season — but that doesn’t take away from our extreme excitement in the least.

Game of Thrones’ The Politics of Power: A Look Back at Season 3 will premiere on Tuesday, March 11th at 8:30PM.
