GAME OF THRONES’ Live Concert Tour Looks Insane and Gladiatorial

Still bummed that you won’t get to see Dany make it across the Narrow Sea until next summer? Us too…us too. 🙁

But do you know what is a great way to assuage those Game of Thrones blues? Attending the excessively insane spectacle that will be the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience. Curated by the show’s superstar composer, Ramin Djawadi, this absurdly immersive musical show will include phalanxes of choir and orchestra members on a giant stage with one of the most ridiculous (dystopian?) digital projection displays probably ever conceived. Check out a digital rendering of what the stage will look like below, and get ready to cower in fear at the most intimidatingly entertaining live configuration in all the Seven Kingdoms.

According to a press release, the performance promises to take you on a musical journey from Kings Landing to the Wall, which is all well and good, but if they start playing the “Rains Of Castamere” toward the end of the show, I am going to f–kin’ bounce. Not trying to go out like that. But wildfire jokes aside, you can grab tickets to this 28-city tour right here. The show begins on February 15 in Kansas City, Missouri for some reason and concludes on on April 2 in Portland, Oregon.

Are you planning on bringing your Valyrian steel flask to this? Trying to get wavy off that milk of the poppy during the main Game Of Thrones theme? Let us know how excited you are to attend this extravagant concert on Twitter.

Here’s our thoughts on a GoT spin-off.
