GAME OF THRONES Star Cast in INHUMANS, and More TV News

Can you count the number of times Iwan Rheon has made you feel unsettled with is portrayal of Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones? I can’t because I’ve blocked them all out. He’s going to take his talents at playing villain to Marvel’s Inhumans. Read today’s TV-Cap and learn who he’s playing, view motion posters for Iron Fist and American Gods, see who’s returning to direct more Supergirl, and more.

Oh, Boy. Marvel‘s Inhumans has found their Maximus the Mad. As teased above, the villain will be played by Iwan Rheon, and based on the description of Maximus–he’s clever and charming–I’m so into this decision. Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb said, “Iwan’s ability to be charming, roguish, and still completely unexpectedly dangerous were all the different sides we needed to bring the character to life. We’re thrilled to have him on board.” Learn more about Maximus the Mad here at Nerdist.

Power from Within. Let’s stay with Marvel for another minute or 15 seconds. They’ve released a motion poster for the upcoming Iron Fist. The next superhero show is set to debut on March 17 on Netflix.

Casting Heads-Up. ABC’s Somewhere in Between, an upcoming thriller series that’s also supernatural, has cast Devon Sawa. He’ll play private investigator Nico Jackson opposite Paula Patton’s Laura Price. [Deadline]

Rebooting Creeps. The year 2017 is going to bring us a reboot of Tales from the Crypt from M. Night Shyamalan. TNT’s packaging the spooky show into their horror block in the fall, and this ominous preview teases the tone ahead. Note: don’t take a drink while watching the last 10 or so seconds. [A.V. Club]

Bingeing Padawan. Set your remote to binge because Star Wars: The Clone Wars is leaving Netflix on March 7. If you haven’t watched the animated series and can’t carve out time to view all 100+ episodes, I have your back with this essential episodes guide. This is where the fun begins.

Elena and Stefan. Okay, I know this footage from The Vampire Diaries series finale is only seconds long, but it’s been a long time since we’ve seen Elena and Stefan on screen together. Maybe it gives me a case of emotions. I don’t know how I’m going to handle the last episode when it airs on March 10. [TVLine]

The Right Worldview. Black Mirror presents a certain kind of view of the world and how you interpret said point of view is subjective. I’d call it cynical but also not unrealistic. Anyway. Rumor is that director John Hillcoat is on board to bring his unique touch to season four for an episode called “Crocodile.” Get details on the report at Tracking Board. [/Film]

Joke’s On Us. Adult Swim knows Rick and Morty fans are eager for new anything related to season three, so they applied their particular brand of humor and released a trailer. The catch? The trailer is a Rickroll. A perfectly done Rickroll. Watch it above. [Nerdist]

Rainy Shadow. What’s that? You’ve heard motion posters are all the rage and you’d like to see another one? Boom. Starz released one for American Gods. For the record, I’d be totally fine with getting caught in the rain with Shadow Moon.

Back to National City. Kevin Smith can’t stay away from superhero TV. He confirmed via Instagram that he’s back in the director’s chair for Supergirl‘s second season and apparently his episode has something to do with Daxam. Another post from Smith confirms Lynda Carter will be reprising her role as the President of the United States in the episode. [CBR]

Questions. Would you ally yourselves with Skaikru? The group at the center of The 100 does try to save the day, but they’re also troublemakers, or at the very least, they’re often harbingers of doom. In this preview of the next episode of The CW drama (airing tonight, February 22), Luna wonders if she should be trusting of them. [TVLine]

Rewind. Did you miss anything important Agents of S.H.I.EL.D. Tuesday night? Read this recap to make sure you didn’t.
