Are you planning to spend the weekend discussing what the heck we’re gong to see in season 7? We have just the thing for you withdrawal sufferers: Redditor deathBlad3 posted a video from YouTuber Super Guitar Hero featuring a compilation of auditions from Game of Thrones actors like Emilia Clarke, Rose Leslie, Gwendoline Christie, Natalie Dormer, Liam Cunningham, Tom Wlaschiha, Sophie Turner, and little baby Maisie Williams.

It’s actually pretty clear why all of these people were cast. Watching Leslie say, “You know nothing Jon Snow,” will give you chills. RIP Ygritte! Natalie Dormer uses her hypnotic snake-like charm to mesmerize the producers. Just watch her talk about her dress straps. Is it warm in here? There is a cut of audition lines from Turner and Williams, showing a scene between them that appeared in season 1, and you can already see their chemistry, even though they’re clearly not in the same room. Clarke is doing what appears to be a scene from something else. I believe it’s for the 2013 movie Belle, possibly the role of Elizabeth Murray. Let us know if you think of another film it could be.

Carice Van Houten, who plays Melissandre, begins to talk about the Lord of Light, but you can see on her face where she messes up. She finally ends it with a laughing, “I f***** up.” Rory McCann, who plays The Hound will break your heart. He’ll also scare the crap out of you, so make sure the volume is down. (Still waiting for an Arya/Hound buddy comedy.) The one that’s really going to get you, though, is Jason Momoa. He does the haka,  a traditional war challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand. It’s terrifying. You’ll love it.

Auditions are hard. Getting that level of emotion going while someone reads the other lines in a flat voice, knowing every moment of your eyes will affect whether or not you get a part–it’s doubly impressive to watch this happen.
