Galactic Guests Announced for Disney’s STAR WARS Weekends

So many Star Wars events, so little time. That’s how it feels lately. Fans are getting spoiled, what with Star Wars Celebration almost here and Star Wars Weekends on the horizon. And let’s not forget about Disney’s upcoming Star Wars cruise. What a fine time to be fan of the galaxy far, far away–we have so many things to look forward to! Though I’m sure most of you have Celebration on the brain, start looking ahead to May and June because Disney has announced the line-up for Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The event runs from May 15 though June 14, and each weekend has stellar guests.

James Arnold Taylor is back as the host with the most so he’ll be around each weekend, and he’ll be talking to some of these fine folks:

May 15-17
Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine)
Amy Allen (Aayla Secura)
Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren)

May 22-24
Warwick Davis (Wicket)
Silas Carson (Nute Gunray, Ki-Adi-Mundi)
Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla)

May 29-31
Warwick Davis
Daniel Logan (Boba Fett)
Steve Blum (Zeb Orrelios)

June 5-7
Ray Park (Darth Maul)
Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett)
Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano)

June 12-14
Frank Oz (Yoda)
Ray Park
Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca)
Taylor Gray (Ezra Bridger)

The full schedule hasn’t been announced yet, but special guests usually appear in the parade, sign autographs, and join James Arnold Taylor for special interviews and shows. You’ll have a few opportunities to spot and maybe interact with all the visiting celebrities. Hollywood Studios will also feature other Star Wars-themed entertainment like a special fireworks show and several costumed characters plus galactic merchandise and treats.

Will you be attending Star Wars Weekends? If so, leave a Wookiee growl in the comments.
