FUTURAMA Cast Reunites for New WORLDS OF TOMORROW Game

Good news, everyone! Just because a TV show gets cancelled doesn’t mean it’s gone for good—not in this day and age. Some shows come back when people ask for them enough (like Twin Peaks), some come back even if nobody’s ever asked for it (like Full House), and still some come back in a different format after having been canceled several times on various different networks. That last one is Futurama, the beloved sci-fi comedy that just simply can’t stay gone for long. Now you can keep the story going with the brand new mobile game, Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, available now.

We had the opportunity to preview the game and it does NOT disappoint.

From TinyCo Games and Fox Next Games comes the next installment in the Futurama saga, and this time it’s also a game you can play on your mobile devices, via the App Store or Google Play.

But not only is this a game to occupy your fun-loving brain, it’s also a fully-produced new adventure written by Matt Groening, David X. Cohen, and the Futurama writers. That’s how you know the mark of quality. Enjoy this trailer for the story, also featuring the same cast you know and love.

The official synopsis says “This story sets the stage for a galactic adventure that will take players across the universe in search of ancient alien artifacts to restore the fabric of spacetime after it is transformed by one of the universe’s most recognizable yet enigmatic creatures: the Hypnotoad.” What that pretty much means is that the Hypnotoad’s lady friend is willing to break through from a perpendicular universe.

And if you still need more information and enticement, listen to the creators themselves:

So what’re you waiting for? This is like a brand new Futurama episode at your fingertips. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below!
