FROM DUSK TILL DAWN Maze Coming to Halloween Horror Nights

A maze inspired by the El Rey series From Dusk Till Dawn will be joining The Walking Dead, which is returning for its fifth year, at Universal Studios Halloween Horror nights this fall.

Director Robert Rodriguez and the cast of the series made the announcement in the video below. In staying true to the series the team promise that the maze will include vampires, blood, and lots of snakes. It was also recently revealed that season one of Dusk, the first scripted series on El Rey, will be available to stream on Netflix starting August 19. Dusk was picked up for a second season by El Rey only two weeks into its initial run.

The Dusk maze will be featured at both the Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood parks. On the Universal Orlando site the attraction includes a description that reads: “Beneath the neon lit façade of this remote biker bar you’ll discover a labyrinth of death, as an ancient race of bloodthirsty creatures serve up chaos and carnage.” From Dusk Till Dawn and The Walking Dead are the two attractions that have been confirmed so far for this Halloween season.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando will take place on select nights from September 19 through November 1. Dates for Universal Hollywood have not been announced.

Watch Rodriguez and the cast of the El Rey series discuss the maze in the video below. From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series starring D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González and Wilmer Valderrama is expected to return to El Rey in the spring of 2015.
