With the series set to make a splash this Friday at 5:30pm in Ballroom 20 and its spin-off series, The Flash, receiving high praise during the screening of its pilot, there’s a lot for The CW’s hit series, Arrow, to live up to. The insane end to its second season saw Oliver fight an army of super-powered villains courtesy of former friend turned foe, Slade Wilson. So how will The CW up the ante you ask? By delivering on something it’s been promising since season one:

What you’re seeing here is Roy Harper (played by Colton Haynes) in full gear for the completion of his transformation into Arsenal, which is set to happen sometime in season three. There’s currently no word on when during the season this’ll happen, but considering Roy got a mask of his very own during the season two finale, we imagine it’s going to be sooner rather than later.
For our money, this get-up is as cool as it could have been and, just like the series costume for Oliver, looks to be very cosplayable, so get them sewing kits ready, nerds! We can’t wait to see what you guys bring to the table the next time a major comic convention comes rolling around, but for now, we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for all you Oliver Queen cosplayers at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Arrow returns Wednesday, October 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

I thought He was more “Speedy” than arsenal doesn’t he lose his arm before becoming Arsenal?
Looks like he may have sais or some other weapons on his boots.
Speedy is what Ollie calls his Sister, so no, he wouldn’t be called Speedy here.
Personally, I would have liked to see how he would have progressed as a werewolf in Teen Wolf rather than all this build up for him to be shooting arrows rather than clawing the hell out of someone.

Sadly I haven’t kept up with the Green Arrow Comics. So Arsenal is essentially Speedy then? I totally think his uniform is badass! Arrow is a kick ass show and one that I cannot wait for each and every episode to air! Which is fairly unheard of these days! CW is getting itself an impressive resume going!
speedy was his early name, then he adopted red arrow until he lost his arm and got a cybernetic one that had an arsenal of gadgets. hence he changed his name because he could not fire a bow.
