First Look at the Ice Cars From FAST 8

The eighth Fast and Furious movie has arrived in Iceland for the next phase of its production. And judging from Fast 8‘s latest photos, it looks like the franchise is going full James Bond!

Fast 8‘s official Facebook page debuted five new ice cars that will be utilized in Iceland, including a bullet-riddled Dodge Ice Charger that belongs to Vin Diesel‘s Dominic Toretto. Even in this part of the world, Dom’s first choice is always a Dodge. Of course, Dom’s wife, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) isn’t going to let him have all of the fun. In this film, she’s got a Rally Fighter. And Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) may have a style advantage over everyone with his Orange Lamborghini.

In terms of power, there are two very clear winners:  Tej Parker (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) has a Ripsaw and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) is driving an Ice Ram!

You can see the rest of the photos in our gallery below. As far as we can tell, these vehicles aren’t quite as over-the-top as the ones used in Die Another Day, but if any of them secretly turn invisible then we’ll readdress that point. Also, we have yet to see which cars the villains will be driving on the ice.  However, it seems like a safe bet that their vehicles will be able to match or exceed the ones used by Dom’s crew.

This time out, the leading villain is played by Charlize Theron, with Game of Thrones co-star Kristofer Hivju as her primary henchman. Most of the main players from Furious 7 will be back, including  Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russell, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Lucas Black, with Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren as the newest additions to the cast.

F. Gary Gray is directing Fast 8, which is scheduled to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
