The Dark Tower
Though director Ron Howard recently tweeted our first look at Idris Elba as Roland the Gunslinger in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, today we have the first pic of Elba actually brandishing his signature weapon. And he’s brandishing it against none other than co-star Jackie Earle Haley’s villainous Sayre! Haley’s sporting dots on his face, presumably so that CGI can later be added. Finally today… With solid buzz surrounding her performance in Star Trek Beyond, Kingsman: The Secret Service star Sofia Boutella is donning stark white makeup again for a very different kind of role: as the titular creature in Universal’s Tom Cruise-starring reboot of its Mummy franchise.
