Cute as the news may be, we’re all a little scared, and not at all prepared for the latest revelation from Disney: The new Beauty and the Beast tsum tsums have just been revealed for the first time.
We learned about this new batch of the collectible stuffed animals from the fan site Disney Tsum Tsum, and they spotted this initial listing over at Angel Wholesale, a company in the UK. The collection of six Posh Paws-styled tsum tsums (say that five times fast) includes Belle, Beast, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Cogsworth. They are only listed for sale as a group, and will run you over 21 pounds (roughly $30 American) for the pack. It is unknown at this time when they will be available elsewhere.
Alas, if you’ve been eagerly awaiting some Beauty and the Beast tsum tsums to complete your own pyramid, you will have to wait just a little while longer, because the company says they are not available to be shipped until June. That might give us some idea of when we’ll be able to find them on this side of the Atlantic.
Beauty and the Beast has a legitimate claim to being the greatest animated movie of all-time. It was the first animated movie to be nominated for Best Picture (and that was before the Academy went to the larger field of nominees), so while this might be the first tsum tsums from the film, they might not be the last.
What other characters from Beauty and the Beast would you like to see eventually get their own tsum tsum? Be our guest in the comments below and tell us what you’d like to order up.
