First Glimpse of The Comic-Con Exclusives from Funko

Well, there goes all my expendable income for the next… lets say, forever. The masters of awesome collectibles at Funko just released pictures of some of their San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, and in light of one of them being a new Bender Bending Rodríguez Pop! figure, what can we say that the following gif can’t convey:

BenderGif06092015

Along with the beautiful golden Bender, the lineup so far features Pop! versions of Sparkle Hair Sadness (Disney/Pixar: Inside Out),  Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in a spacesuit, and Deadpool’s Chimichanga Truck! That’s right, DEADPOOL’S CHIMICHANGA TRUCK in Pop! form! Never have more beautiful words been typed.

Adding to the vinyl greatness are a dazzling infrared Boba Fett, a Dorbz 6″ Adam West Batman, and a recently slimed Dr. Peter Venkman with a look on his face that perfectly encapsulates Bill Murray’s revulsion. If you somehow find that you’re not a fan of Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars, take comfort in the fact that this is only the first wave of exclusive figures, and that Funko also recently announced both an Agent Carter figure and ones for the Fallout and Skyrim series. Still not content? They’re also doing Orange is the New Black! What I’m getting at is that Funko does everything!

As someone who dropped more money than I’d like to admit a few years back on the life-sized Mattel Hoverboard from Back To The Future 2, the announcement of these exclusive figures have me quite worried that I will once again come home from Comic-Con with a nearly empty bank account and a need for more shelving. The good news, I suppose, is that this year I won’t have to deal with weird looks from strangers as I walk through two airports and sit on a train for an hour with a bright pink hoverboard under my arm.

Check out the exclusives in the gallery and let us know what you think in the comments below!
