Finding the Real (Yeah, Sure) Fades in the U.K.

While we’re promoting Saturday night’s BBC America evening o’ eerie and nerdy, including the U.S. premiere of The Fades (9/8c) followed by the world premiere of the new Nerdist special with Alison Brie, Kunal Nayyar, Lily Loveless, and Thomas Dolby (10:15/9:15c), BBC America’s Anglophenia blog has a convenient gallery of how and where in Britain you can find ghosts. They insist that some places are just packed to the brim with spirits, and you’ll just have to take their word for it. I mean, I’ve been to the Tower of London, and it was packed to the brim with tourists, not ghosts. And they talk about pub ghosts, and I’ve been to pubs in England and not a single ghost appeared, not even after several pints. And they suggest that if all else fails, you can go see Ghost, the musical, which… no. That is not happening.

See the whole gallery by clicking here.

Anyway, this is all to remind you to watch The Fades and then the Nerdist special on BBC America Saturday night. If you encounter any ghosts before then, invite them to watch, too. Although I don’t know if they count in the ratings.
