Final DAREDEVIL Season 2 Trailer Promises a War is Coming

The first season of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil series showed us that Hell’s Kitchen really is like the pressure cooker from Beelzebub. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) managed to put an end to Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire (at least for the time being), but if the final trailer for season 2—which premieres Friday, yous guys!—is any indication, the Kingpin was just a cuddly little puppy dog compared to what’s about to happen. (Sidebar: how come we never get to see Hell’s Den or Hell’s Lanai?) The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Yung)? They’re just the tip of the iceberg. Have a look!

Okay, so things seem pretty dour now, huh? It’s like that little section of New York City is where ninjas go to hang out, and Daredevil is the only one who can keep them from turning the place into chop suey. He doesn’t have to be, mind you. That’s his the-problems-of-everything-and-everyone-on-my-shoulders mentality that refuses to accept help. This has to be done his way, alone. He probably won’t even let Stick (Scott Glenn) aid more than just giving him a exposition dump. The trailer also shows Elektra as the badass we expected, even though she clearly has feelings for Matt (hey, she kissed him after threatening his life, that’s love, right?), but sexual tension in the rain with Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) is also present. Man, superheroes, amirite?

We only have a couple more days to wait, everybody! The Man Without Fear returns for another binge-watcher’s fantasy beginning this Friday, March 18, on Netflix. Get ready for everybody to be talking about all of it come Saturday morning.

Are you stoked? Does this trailer make you more excited? Let us know in the comments below!
