Felicity Jones on ROGUE ONE’s “Flawed” STAR WARS Heroes

Although the release of Rogue One is still several months away, countless Star Wars fans are gearing up for what could be the ballsiest film in the saga since The Empire Strikes Back. We throw some fuel on that fire of excitement in today’s Movie Morsels with the latest from the film’s star, Felicity Jones. Plus, the lead role of Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time adaptation has finally been cast, and we’ve got a whole heap of new trailers.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Rogue One

Rogue One‘s Felicity Jones has spoken with Yahoo about her new movie A Monster Calls, and the English actress was asked which characters in her Star Wars saga spinoff/prequel film she felt fans would most appreciate. Her response?

“I think you’ll love all the rebels. Because they’re flawed. They’ve all had histories, they’ve all had their own struggles, and I feel like people are going to really champion them and fall in love with them.”

Directed by Gareth Edwards, and co-starring Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker, Rogue One‘s rebels will carry out their mission on December 16.

Fifty Shades Darker

I know, I know. But here’s the thing… How can we ever expect to appreciate all of the Fifty Shades Darker parodies that are sure to come next year if we don’t see the trailer for the sequel to last year’s godawful Fifty Shades of Grey (a.k.a. S&M for Dummies)? So let’s all just suck it up and experience this brief nightmare, anchored two leads with no chemistry whatsoever, together. Okay, now take a deep breath…
