Hey, look, Nerdist favorite Felicia Day is back with a new web series: The creator and star of The Guild has written, co-produced, and is starring in Dragon Age: Redemption. Yes, it’s based on the game franchise. USA Today has the details about the six-episode series and her character of “Tallis, an Elven assassin,” who “is headstrong… fights dirty, and she has a really sarcastic sense of humor. I wanted to bring a modern sensibility to a fantasy character in a fantasy world.”
Felicia has a long post on her blog about the genesis of the new series, and how she wrote the script and pulled a top-flight crew together to shoot the series in January. Read her account of the process here. And she says she’ll be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to premiere the teaser, date and time TBA.
And, as you’re surely aware by now, there’s season 5 of The Guild coming this summer, too. So much goodness.

didn’t they already have Felicia on the podcast? they were talking about how disgusting post cereal milk was.
or did i make that up in a fit of peculiarity? hahaha
Wonder if Chris and Co. and get her on to an episode of the Nerdist. It seems like the perfect time.

I love you, Felicia Day, but “Xena: Warrior Princess” did this over a decade ago. All will be forgiven, though, if your series includes at least one Ted Raimi cameo.
Something tells me she’s doing this just so she can LARP.
Just an FYI…Felicia’s Twitter says the Fallon appearance is tomorrow (2/16) night. Looking forward to seeing the teaser!
She’s this generation’s Erin Grey. Oh how I wish the internets existed back then…
To late, she has already been typecasted.
this is fantastic news – its always good to hear that the every lovely and ever hilarious Felicia is getting to do this. really interested to see how the combination of Felicia’s persona and the Dragon Age franchise turns out.
just hope she doesn’t get typecast into the fantasy heroine role hereafter (what with a similar vibe from Codex etc) because as she’s shown in previous projects like Dr Horrible, she has so much more to bring to a production.
(ps….FIRST!)
