Feel Less Agile After Watching These Incredible Fighters

Part of the fun of a good action movie is seeing the unbelievable skill employed by actors and stunt people as they choreograph the fight scenes. They duck, dodge, and weave, pacing through what almost inevitably becomes an incredibly beautiful dance between highly skilled professionals. Now that we’ve gotten that appreciation for the talent behind some of your favorite fight scenes out of the way, watch the video above and get ready to be completely blown away by the young women on the mat.

The video is actually from a tournament in 2012 according to Rocket News, and the fight is completely choreographed just to assure you that there aren’t fighters out there with these kinds of superhero like reflexes at their disposal. Regardless of the hundreds if not thousands of hours that it took for them to rehearse and plan this exhibition, I wouldn’t want to come upon either one of them in a dark alley, that’s for darn sure! The video was only recently posted on a Weibo YouTube channel and is slowly gathering the admiring view count it deserves.

It’s pretty clear that the judges at the tournament are just as impressed as we viewers on the internet have been since seeing it. They awarded the pair with a silver medal for their performance. Please, take a moment and think about what the exhibition of the gold medal winning pair must have looked like. Personally? I’m kind of terrified. Do you think you could reach this level of skill if you dedicated your life to superhero-like skills like this? What would you study? Tell us in the comments below!
