When you watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the first time, did you find yourself wishing the main characters were in Regency era attire? No? I can’t say that it crossed my mind either, but luckily for all of us, Mer imagined a different world. The artist–who goes by The Real McGee on Tumblr–took Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron and played the best game of dress up ever. Mer’s designs add an air of elegance to the story, and now I’m dying for someone to write a Jane Austen-esque adaptation of The Force Awakens.

How brilliant is putting Finn and Poe on a ship together? Literally on a ship. Guys. I can barely stand it.

Kylo Ren is the dark and misunderstood gentleman, and it’s perfect.

I saved the best for last. Rey is kickass and gorgeous. She would fit right into Pride and Prejudice and Sith. Also, I can’t wait to see a cosplayer tackle this outfit.
