Fan Art Friday #60 – Cute Friendships by Tiffanie Mang

I like to pretend that my favorite fictional characters know each other and hang out when they’re not busy making movies. In my world, Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon and Unikitty from The LEGO Movie are the best of pals. Tiffanie Mang must imagine these sorts of mash-ups too, because her portfolio features some dreamy combinations, and I had to feature them in this week’s Fan Art Friday.

One example of these genius combinations is Joy and Eeyore:

Eeyore is more glum than Sadness, so I think Joy has her work cut out of her.

And speaking of Sadness, just look at her and Baymax:

I want a Disney short starring those two. They don’t have to do much except show up and hug each other repeatedly. I’m easy to please.

Tiffanie is a visual development artist and illustrator. I first came across her art at a convention and have also spotted it at Fan Alley, a cute shop in Anaheim, California. She has put together characters from Inside Out, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Harry Potter, and more. These are the sort of prints that inspire fan fiction, guys. See what I mean by flipping through the gallery below.

Besides all the precious mash-ups, Tiffanie has a large portfolio of original works featuring magical destinations and enchanting characters. They’re the sort of illustrations that transport you. You can purchase prints and ask about commissions in Tiffanie’s Etsy shop and follow her work at Facebook and Instagram. Tell me about your favorite pieces in the comments.
