Star Wars Rebels is near and dear to my heart for a long list of reasons, and one of them is that the animated series introduced me to the work of Ksenia Zelentsova, also known as Lorna Ka. Ksenia’s beautiful, dreamy illustrations of characters such as Hera, Kanan, and Ezra started showing up in my feed on Twitter, and once I visited her gallery on DeviantArt, I noticed she’s tackled familiar faces from multiple fandoms — including The Hobbit, Mass Effect, and The Wolf Among Us.

She does magical things with watercolors. I’m particularly taken with the way she paints Thorin Oakenshield’s hair:
